Picking a look for engagement photos

Updated: Aug 7, 2019

Creating the perfect engagement photos doesn't have to break the bank!

My father is not a professional photographer and to save money I had him snap my photos and they came out great! To me engagement photos should be fun but also tell a small story about your life. My husband and I are doing things a little differently as we got married on January 26 this year at the court house and our wedding reception is not until November 2 because I couldn't get the venue I wanted until then. So I decided to make my photos elopement announcements to send out with the wedding reception invites so that people would know that we are only having a reception and not feel like they didn't get an invite to the wedding. I wanted to include my horse and dog in the photos for a more personal touch. I wish I could have included my cat but I thought taking her out to where I board my horse would have traumatized her. If you see the photos on my about me page, my cat is in one of them but that was taken in my back yard. I think she would be really scared of a horse. My whole wedding is costing less then $5000 so follow along as I share tips on how to have a dream wedding without breaking the bank. PS you can find this top by clicking the

Shop Instagram tab at the top of the page from one of my favorite stores called Southern Fried Chics. And the boots are made by Ariat. #engagementphotos #eloping #germanshepherd #horselover
