As promised here is my post about buying clothes online and getting it right the first time so you don't have to send anything back or get scammed.

Take for example these Grace Karin pants from Amazon. To get the correct size I first know my bust, hip, and waist measurements and I keep these memorized. You can also store your measurements in your phone if you can't remember them. Then I look at the size chart. Select the size closest to your measurements and size up if you want a lose fit or down if you want a tighter fit. Also its so important to read reviews and look at photos if people upload them. I rarely buy anything if it doesn't have reviews. Reviews give me insight into the fit and quality of the item. Also if you are unsure of the site and it isn't well known like Amazon then doing a google search is equally important to ensure the security of the site. If a site doesn't offer payment with Paypal then it is probably not a legit site. NEVER give your credit card to an unknown site unless you use Paypal to pay! And there you have it!
