Building the Modern Farmhouse of my Dreams

My whole life I have been waiting for the day I got to build my dream house from scratch and now its finally here and I am having so much fun designing it!

We are building a brand new house from scratch. We are in the very early stages now and I will be sharing all the details along the way. Right now all that is done is the foundation. The lot we are building on is 1.79 acres with lots of privacy from the surrounding trees. Keep following if you want to see the details from each stage!

I love this old oak tree that we got to save. We had ran into an issue with there being rock that needed to be cleared for the driveway and they were not sure if we could avoid hurting the tree but they ended up being able to keep it far enough away from the tree thankfully
